Please note that the Immigrant Visa Unit will be closed for the holidays, from December 18, 2009 to January 3, 2010 and will reopen on January 4th.

Telephone inquiries regarding specific immigrant visa cases are accepted at the Embassy between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except for U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago holidays.

Hours for Immigrant Visa Services:

Immediate relative petitions (I-130): Accepted between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, except for U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago holidays. 

U.S. Travel letter applications: Accepted between 7:30 to 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday, except U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago holidays.

Returning resident visa applications: Accepted between 7:30 and 9:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, except U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago holidays.

If you have already been interviewed by a consular officer and the officer requested additional documentation, you can bring the requested documents to the Embassy any Friday between 7:30 and 9:00 AM, except for U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago holidays.

All other immigrant visa services are by appointment only.

General telephone inquiries regarding non-immigrant visas are accepted at the Embassy between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except for U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago holidays.

Hours for Non-Immigrant Visa Services:

B1/B2 Visitor Visas, Transit (C1), Student (F1 and M1), Exchange Visitor (J1), Crew (D or C1/D), Information Media (I) and Work (H, L, P, R,) Visas:  : By Appointment Only. Click here for information on scheduling an appointment for a non-immigrant visa.   

E2 Treaty Investor: Applicants for E-2 Treaty Investor visas are asked to drop off their complete application package with the Consular Section receptionist.  The Embassy will call you to schedule an interview. 

Groups with 5 or more members:  By Special Appointment Only.  Please call the Embassy at 622-6371, 622-6372, 622-6373, 622-6374, 622-6375, or 622-6376 between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment.
