How To Apply

For information on immigrating to the United States, click here.

For information on temporary visits or non-immigrant visas to the United States (students, business, tourism, etc.), click here.

Please be advised: Effective November 1, 2006, all applicants for non-immigrant visas must use the Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF). Handwritten forms are no longer accepted. The EVAF is an online form which can be accessed at the following address: https://evisaforms.state.gov/ds156.asp. Applicants must fill out the form on-line, print all three pages of the form, and bring it to their visa appointment. Do not send the form electronically.

When printed correctly, the form will have a bar code on the third page. All of the data on the application form is contained in the bar code, which will be scanned into the Embassy's system on the day of the visa appointment. Use of the EVAF will minimize data entry errors, speed processing time and is required world wide.

Please click on one of the following links to access any additional forms you may need for your non-immigrant visa application. These applications are in PDF format.
