United States Government Donates Court Reporting Equipment to Trinidad and Tobago Judiciary

On Friday, April 29 at 10.00 a.m. in the Chief Justice’s Conference Room at the Hall of Justice in Port of Spain, United States Ambassador, Dr. Roy L. Austin, officially handed over five (5) Digital Court Reporting Systems valued at US$180,000.

Chief Justice, Mr. Satnarine Sharma received the equipment from Ambassador Austin on behalf the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.

This donation is part of a total of fifteen (15) Digital Court Reporting Systems valued at approximately US$540,000, to be delivered within the coming months for use in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.

The government of the United States of America is pleased to be able to assist the Government and people of Trinidad and Tobago in the efficient disposition of justice in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
