Visa Appointment Information

Please note that the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit will be closed to all visa applicants on December 23-25, 30-31, 2009 and January 1, 2010.

The Non-Immigrant Visa Section the United States Embassy operates under a visa appointment system. Applicants for ALL Non-Immigrant Visa types must schedule an appointment for their visa interview.

Announcing the online visa appointment system

1. Effective January 1, 2008 all appointments on or after February 15 must be made online with the State Department's online appoinment system.

2. A visa is required for Trinidad and Tobago nationals wishing to visit the United States. The process for applying for a visa at U.S. Embassy Port of Spain is detailed below.
